Blue-emitting perovskite nanocrystals (PeNCs) with a plate-like morphology possess anisotropic optical properties and exhibit polarized transition dipole moments, making them attractive for optoelectronic devices. While prior studies have highlighted the importance of their orientation, particularly face-down versus edge-up alignment, the influence of crystal morphology, especially lateral size, remains insufficiently understood. In this study, we demonstrate that PeNCs with larger lateral sizes exhibit a pronounced face-down orientation and enhanced optical properties, leading to improved light-emitting diode (LED) performance. These results provide valuable insights into the design of high-efficiency blue LEDs based on PeNCs.
