Fiber Bragg Grating,Dual-wavelength differential detection

A Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) is a device that has a diffraction grating in the core of an optical fiber, and the grating’s period changes when temperature changes or strain is applied. Dual-Wavelength Differential Detection(DWDD) is a method for measuring the FBG reflection peak wavelength from the ratio between the reflection intensities of a two-wavelength pulse pair from the FBG. We report on wavelength-division multiplexed real-time sensing using DWDD.
