If the three-dimensional spatial distribution of radioactive materials within bulk radioactive waste can be measured, it becomes possible to consider more effective decontamination strategies. In this study, assuming gamma rays from Co-60 are observed from a graphite block as a model of radioactive waste, we attempted to develop an imaging technique capable of three-dimensionally measuring the distribution of Co-60 inside a block.
