[10a-A22-13] Polarization of photodetectors by femtosecond laser surface texturing

In this presentation, we report on changes in the characteristics of photodetectors (PD) resulting from laser texturing using a femtosecond laser. A key feature of this study is the in-situ measurement of the PD’s photocurrent while laser processing is underway. In addition to these measurements, we also measured polarization characteristics and discuss the polarization sensitivity characteristics resulting from laser texturing, as well as the microstructures formed.
