Chemical doping is a well-established approach for tuning the physical properties of semiconductors. However, in organic semiconductors, the molecular shape differs from material, which makes the formation of substitutional solid solutions difficult and has hindered the doping of organic crystals.Previously, we carried out a large-scale screening for dopant molecules compatible with DNTT as a host using high-throughput theoretical calculations, and identified pentacene as one of the promising guest candidates. In this study, we searched for guest molecules that form substitutional solid solutions with Ph-BTBT-C10 as a host, a solution-processable organic semiconductor, and characterized the resulting materials using the identified candidates.
