[10a-PA3-1]Electrodeposited Prussian Blue and PEDOT Electrochromic Devices

Electrochromic devices using electrodeposited Prussian Blue (PB) thin films and PEDOT hole injection layers were fabricated and characterized. The PB-based cells exhibited reversible color switching between the bleached and blue states under an applied square-wave voltage of 0–3 V. By introducing PEDOT layers and atmospheric-pressure plasma-treated ITO electrodes, the coloration response became faster and the optical contrast appeared deeper and sharper. These results indicate that interfacial engineering of ITO electrodes is an effective approach to improving the electrochromic performance of PB-based devices.
