Toward the realization of full-Stokes snapshot polarimetry in LiDAR, we newly designed a polarization hologram element configuration capable of suppressing the generation of higher-order diffracted light. In the conventional configuration, higher-order diffracted light caused by the optical-axis orientation distribution of the polarization holograms was mixed into the measurement spots, limiting the extinction ratio. Therefore, transmittance filters and a phase filter were introduced, and numerical calculations verified that suppression of higher-order diffracted light enables a higher extinction ratio and extension to full-Stokes measurement including S3.
