[10p-B11-11]Theoretical Study of Interface-Localized Optical States in Chiral Photonic Crystal Junctions

We theoretically analyze electromagnetic field states in photonic crystals formed by junctions between gyroid structures with opposite chirality. Band structure calculations show the emergence of optical states localized near the junction interface within the photonic band gap. We further analyze the electromagnetic field distributions and discuss the spatial characteristics and formation mechanism of the interface-localized states.
