We developed an algorithm to extract atomic positions, symmetry axes, and crystal facets from FIM images. For FIM images of tungsten, We confirmed that our algorithm can extract crystal facets. Since the crystal facets are extracted based on the arrangement of bright spots, the same algorithm can be applied to the analysis of FIM images of various samples.
