Higher integration density and lower write current in STT-MRAM require the simultaneous achievement of high perpendicular magnetic anisotropy and low damping. In this study, the magnetization dynamics of bcc Co-Mn-Fe/Cr multilayers were evaluated using TR-MOKE measurements. The effective damping constant decreased with increasing magnetic field and reached approximately 0.013 at high fields. These results confirm that bcc Co-Mn-Fe can exhibit both high PMA and relatively low damping.
