Optical waveform measurement
The Frequency-Domain Optical Correlation (FDOC) method reconstructs a waveform by applying an inverse Fourier transform to correlation values acquired via frequency sweeping, enabling the independent design of time resolution and measurement range. In this work, by utilizing a finer sweep step, we extended the measurement range to 2500 ps, five times that of our previous work. Using a simulation of a DSB-modulation-based system, we demonstrated that aperiodic arbitrary transient waveforms can be measured and reconstructed with high fidelity while maintaining a time resolution of 25 ps.
