In organic semiconductors, the formation of PN junctions has been challenging due to the immaturity of doping methods. In this study, we employ ion-exchange methods to achieve molecular doping via solution processing, enabling the formation of PN junctions in polymer semiconductors and the realization of rectifying diodes. Optical absorption spectra and current–voltage characteristics of the stacked films confirm both junction formation and rectifying behavior. These results provide design guidelines for the utilization of molecular doping in organic electronic devices.
