This study focuses on energy harvesting using piezoelectric materials both as anomaly detection sensors and as power sources for wireless devices. Enhancement of piezoelectric performance has therefore been investigated. Previous results showed that the piezoelectricity of lead zirconate titanate (PZT) improves with increasing laminated rubber thickness. In this study, we examine the relationship between PZT thickness, material properties, and piezoelectric performance by laminating rubber onto PZT.
