In this study, frequency-division multiplexing is applied to OCDR by using sinusoidal frequency modulation and PPRM-based frequency modulation as independent measurement channels. This configuration enables the reflection distribution over the entire 50-km FUT to be obtained while simultaneously measuring the reflection structure near the fiber end with high spatial resolution. The proposed method is expected to improve the measurement efficiency and flexibility compared with the conventional approach, in which local measurement is performed after full-length measurement.
