To understand the relationship between cytoskeletal structures and collective motions, we constructed an in vitro cytoskeletal model using a focused laser beam and observed its dynamics. Laser irradiation induced the formation of fibrous aggregation, whose size increased with irradiation time. Furthermore, distinct modes of collective motion were observed depending on the irradiation time, including contraction following expansion and two-layered collective motions. These results suggest that diverse cytoskeleton-like collective motions can be generated by controlling laser irradiation conditions.
