This study investigated the detection of glycated albumin (GA), a diabetes biomarker, using a semiconductor indium tin oxide (ITO) thin-film transistor (TFT). A competitive assay was implemented by utilizing hybridization between a probe DNA immobilized on the ITO surface and a GA aptamer. Measurements performed at GA concentrations of 10–50 nM showed that the gate-voltage shift (ΔVg) decreased with increasing GA concentration, demonstrating a clear concentration-dependent response. These results confirm the feasibility of quantitative GA detection using the proposed ITO-TFT biosensor.
