In recent years, low-voltage operation of organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs) based on upconversion (UC) electroluminescence via triplet–triplet annihilation (TTA) has attracted significant attention. Furthermore, growing interest has been directed toward multifunctional organic devices that combine both light-emitting and photovoltaic functionalities within a single device. In this study, inverted OLEDs employing soluble fullerene derivatives as acceptor materials were fabricated, and their electroluminescent (EL) and photovoltaic characteristics were evaluated.
