We report the variation of the critical current in a Josephson junction array device consisting of an Al thin film and an InAs quantum well, where the number of junctions and the junction spacing are systematically varied. The number of measured Josephson junctions can be varied from 1 to 23, and the current–voltage characteristics were measured. The results show that the critical current decreases as the number of junctions increases.
