Photovoltaics are exected to contribute as major energy of about 47% in 2050 and to contribute to creat clean energy society. For this purpose, various reserch and developmemt of solar cells is necessary. In this paper, future prospects of photovoltaics such as development of high-efficiency, low cost, high reliablle solar cells and development of new applications are presented.
