The Rose Water model, which represents the behavior of water in two dimensions, was implemented in the molecular dynamics software LAMMPS to evaluate the temperature dependence of ice and its surface. As a result, a density maximum near the melting point and a quasi-liquid phase (surface melting) in the surface region were confirmed, demonstrating that even a simplified two-dimensional model reproduces features characteristic of real water.
