A chip-separated hollow structure, in which the resonator and ground conductor are fabricated on separate chips, has been proposed and demonstrated as a means of achieving higher quality factors in planar superconducting resonators. To further understand its resonant properties, temperature-dependent measurements were performed over a wide temperature range. The temperature dependence of resonance frequency and quality factor was analyzed, and the detailed results will be presented at the conference.
