Superfluorescence is emitted from multiple polarizations in phase with one another, and it is expected to serve as a next-generation ultrashort coherent pulse light source. Superfluorescence occurring over a range wider than the wavelength of light requires consideration of stimulated emission effects; however, describing this phenomenon using full quantum theory poses the challenge of enormous computational costs. In this study, we propose a new method for analyzing superfluorescence by describing stimulated emission using semi-classical theory and representing light propagation through electromagnetic field analysis, and then solving this in conjunction with Maxwell’s equations.
