In recent years, EWOD (Electrowetting on Dielectric) has attracted attention for liquid lens applications. Conventional ITO transparent electrodes have limited flexibility, which restricts their application in flexible devices. In this study, a transparent EWOD device using graphene electrodes was fabricated. In addition, a high-permittivity material, PVDF-TrFE-CFE, was introduced, and the contact angle variation was evaluated through comparison with a CYTOP single-layer structure. The results demonstrated an increased contact angle variation and reduced driving voltage, indicating the feasibility of the proposed structure for transparent EWOD devices.
