Visualization of plasma flow is essential for improving the efficiency of EUV light sources and mitigating debris. In this study, we developed a method to calculate two-dimensional (2D) local velocity vectors from two orthogonal flow velocity components by constructing a laser Thomson scattering (LTS) measurement system with probe laser beams incident from two different directions. In the measurement of carbon plasma, a velocity field in the range of approximately 2×104 to 7×104 m/s was obtained. Furthermore, we evaluated that the angular error resulting from the uncertainty in reading the peaks of the ion term ranged from 3.3° to 10.3°.
