In this study, we fabricated microdevices of the iron-based superconductor CaKFe4As4 by exfoliating and microfabricating single crystals, and directly evaluated their critical-current properties. Pulsed-current measurements of the self-field critical current revealed critical current densities on the order of 106 ~ 107 A/cm2 near Tc. These results provide a basis for clarifying the physical origin of the critical current through future measurements at lower temperatures and under applied magnetic fields.
