The high-performance organic semiconductor Ph-BTBT-Cn forms a charge-transport-favorable parallel-type structure upon thermal annealing, but such high-temperature processing can degrade device components. Here, we prepared spin-coated polycrystalline films from a mixed solution of n = 4 and 6, obtaining a parallel-type cocrystal without heating. The structure was determined by IR spectroscopy, X-ray diffraction, 2D-GIXD, and DFT calculations. Charge transfer integrals computed with the ADF program confirmed two-dimensional charge transport, demonstrating the potential of these films for organic transistor applications.
