We fabricated two-terminal devices using organic single crystals ((Et-4BrT)[Ni(dmit)2]2, [Ni(chxn)2Br]Br2, and θ-(BEDT-TTF)2CsZn(SCN)4) and characterized them by I–V measurements and AC impedance spectroscopy. All materials exhibited memristive behavior with pinched hysteresis loops, together with emergent inductive responses revealed in the AC spectra. In this presentation, we discuss the possible origins of the emergent inductance and the potential of organic single-crystal memristors for synapse- and neuron-like device functions.
