近年の宇宙開発では、惑星保護の観点から宇宙探査機滅菌が重要視されている。探査機滅菌には、いかなる環境下でも微生物の生命活動を再開させない不可逆的処理が求められ、増殖阻害に加えてタンパク質を含む生体分子の分解が重要である。本研究では低圧水プラズマ滅菌法に着目し、OHラジカルがタンパク質に与える影響を評価した。
