[15a-W9_325-7]Design and Implementation of Superconducting Terahertz Sources Based on a Model Hierarchy of Effective Theories

We constructed a hierarchy of effective theoretical models compatible with general-purpose simulators to analyze terahertz light sources using the cuprate high-temperature superconductor Bi2212. Through the analysis of these models, we clarified the effectiveness of high-profile mesa structures and the challenges regarding synchronization instability, demonstrating the models' utility for the pre-evaluation of these light sources. Furthermore, we report the results of device implementation based on the derived guidelines for enhancing radiation intensity.
