Solid-state nanopores are a promising platform for robust DNA sequencing and are under active development worldwide. However, they still face significant challenges, such as excessively high DNA translocation speeds, resulting in insufficient resolution. In this study, we fabricated gold nanopores with diameters narrowed to several nanometers via Electroless Au-Plating (ELGP) and controlled the molecular interactions through surface modification. Consequently, we successfully reduced the translocation speed to 180 nt/s and obtained signals reflecting base sequence information by employing analysis based on HMM and DTW.
