Toward realizing multi-component simultaneous detection infrared gas sensors, there is a strong demand for constructing wavelength-space-division metasurface devices that can focus arbitrary wavelengths onto arbitrary spatial regions. This research realizes a metamaterial lens capable of focusing different wavelengths to different focal positions by introducing a metamaterial lens structure into the high-efficiency photothermal conversion properties of a MIM (metal-insulator-metal) structure (Au-SiO2-Au nanostructure) metasurface. This presentation reports on analysis using the Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) method, fabrication using semiconductor microfabrication technology, and evaluation.
