[15p-PA1-15]Splitting of Extinction Peaks by Placing Metasurface Stickers on Metallic Mirrors

The purpose of this study was to induce and control the splitting of extinction peaks by placing an Al nanoparticle periodic array metasurface sticker on an Al mirror. Reflectance measurements revealed that the extinction peaks split into shorter and longer wavelength regions centered around the resonance wavelength of the sticker alone. Furthermore, by modifying the periodic structure of the sticker, we successfully shifted the resonance peaks toward the ultraviolet region.
