A discrete frequency scanning laser in the visible region is presented. The resonant frequency of Fabry-Perot etalons is discretely scanned and lasing. Experimental results indicate that the total tuning range is 4.68 THz and the power of each discrete frequency peak is approximately 20 dB higher than that of the filtered comb peak.
