Transmissive diffusers, such as ground glass, are widely used in the development of UV-based products. While the Bidirectional Transmittance Distribution Function (BTDF) is commonly used as a metric to evaluate light diffusion performance, conventional sequential measurement systems often lack UV compatibility and require excessive time for high-angular-resolution measurements. In this study, we developed a UV-compatible BTDF measurement system capable of rapid, high-angular-resolution measurements and investigated the correlation between the processing parameters of ground glass and its BTDF in the UV range.
