As Japan strives to reestablish domestic production of advanced semiconductor logic, on-site classes by corporate engineers are gaining attention. This lecture highlights key factors for successful industry-academia collaboration based on practices at National Institute of Technology, Asahikawa College. First, clarify the purpose of the class and tailor content to students’ level. Second, conduct thorough pre-meetings with instructors to ensure the session focuses on technical education rather than company promotion. Third, have faculty take the lead in student assessment by setting assignments aligned with learning outcomes.
