We have developed "μSPLIT", a low-cost, disposable aerosol classifier designed for high-radiation and high-contamination environments, such as the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station. Manufactured via 3D printing at a cost of approximately 400 JPY, the device enables single-use operation, eliminating the need for equipment decontamination. Performance tests confirmed effective particle classification, and gamma-ray irradiation testing at 28 kGy demonstrated sufficient radiation resistance. This technology addresses the critical challenges of cost and cross-contamination in the multi-point, continuous monitoring of radioactive particle characteristics in harsh environments.
