Optical skyrmions possess topologically protected polarization textures such as hedgehog, vortex, and anti-vortex, and they are rapidly finding utility in advanced applications; however, there are few reports detailing the interaction between optical skyrmions and materials.
ln this presentation, we address the perspectives of chiral materials science using optical skyrmions.
