This study investigates the behavior of perceptually motivated loss functions in multi-depth computer-generated holography (CGH). Loss functions originally developed for single-plane CGH are incorporated into a multi-depth reconstruction framework, in which a single phase-only hologram is jointly optimized for multiple propagation distances. Quantitative evaluation across different depth planes reveals that variations in artifact sensitivity among image quality metrics lead to depth-dependent differences in reconstruction quality.
