This study investigates the spin angular momentum (SAM) carried by circularly polarized light generated from one-dimensional plasmonic crystals under electron-beam excitation in a scanning transmission electron microscope. In particular, two distinct SAM modulation mechanisms occurring within the sample are systematically identified and clarified. These findings provide valuable insights into the design of advanced nanophotonic devices.
