マグノン・フォノン結合を利用したフォノン非相反伝搬の研究において、従来は巨大な非相反性の発現には人工反強磁性体などの複雑な多層構造が必要であった。本研究では単一のYIG磁性層を用いた表面弾性波デバイスにおいてマグノンモード形状の伝搬方向依存性を活用した巨大な非相反性の観測に成功し、単層磁性体からなる簡素な構造においても巨大な非相反性が誘起できることを明らかにした。
