This presentation introduces the unique radiation heat transfer occurring in structures where a metal thin film is stacked on multilayer films with hyperbolic dispersion. Calculations based on fluctuational electromagnetics demonstrate that radiative heat transport in materials with hyperbolic dispersion increases dramatically via hot electrons.
