We have reported that tripodal triptycenes with a rigid propeller-shaped structure exhibit excellent two-dimensional self-assembly properties. In this study, we synthesized new derivatives in which three ionic functional groups were introduced. Using these compounds, we investigated the formation of intercalation complexes with crystals of iron selenide (FeSe), an iron-based superconductor with a PbO-type structure, as well as surface modification of its epitaxial thin films. In this presentation, we will report the characterization of the resulting inorganic-organic hybrids and their superconducting properties.
