有機EL素子などに用いられる非晶質有機半導体蒸着膜には、自発的配向分極(SOP)を示すものが数多く存在する。SOPにより膜内に生じる電界強度は、通常、数十mV/nm（数百kV/cm）程度であり、これが内蔵電界となって有機EL素子等のデバイス特性に影響を及ぼす。本講演では、DCM-PL法とデバイスシミュレーションを併用した解析の具体例から、有機EL素子の駆動・劣化機構におけるSOPの寄与について議論する
