We recently succeeded in fabricating a transverse thermoelectric power generation device exhibiting output power at the microwatt level using p–n junction single-walled carbon nanotube (SWCNT) films composed of p-type and n-type regions. However, the power generation mechanism of this device has not yet been fully clarified. In this study, we aim to elucidate the power generation mechanism through both experimental investigations and simulations.
