We investigated photon-controlled optical switching devices using a surface-stabilized ferroelectric liquid crystals. We measured the voltage versus photoncounting characteristics. As a result, we can evaluate voltage dependent photon number characteristics and analyzed statistics arises from Poisson distribution.
