The pressure dependence of ionic conductivity in AgIXBr1-X solid solutions was examined. An increase in Br content resulted in a noticeable increase in ionic conductivity from 8.61 × 10-6 S/cm to 1.21 × 10-3 S/cm. In AgI0.8Br0.2, the conductivity further increased from 1.21 × 10-3 S/cm to 4.19 × 10-3 S/cm under an applied pressure of 300 MPa. The experimental results suggest that AgI0.8Br0.2 has improved ionic transport properties and can be regarded as a potential material for solid electrolyte applications.
