Recently, superconducting transition with Tconset at 4.3 K has been reported in La0.20Ce0.20Pr0.20Nd0.20Sm0.20O0.5F0.5BiS2 with a high-entropy-alloy (HEA)-type rare-earth site. However, the effects of elemental substitution at the Bi site in such HEA-type compounds have not yet been reported. Therefore, investigating elemental substitution at the Bi site is expected to provide insight into the mechanism by which Bi-site substitution influences the superconducting properties.
In this presentation, we discuss the effects of Bi site elemental substitution on the superconducting properties of HEA-type RE(O, F)BiS2.
