As part of research leading to a deeper understanding of the elementary processes of quantum energy conversion, studies are being conducted to compare the intensities of radiation-induced scintillation, which is an immediate emission, and thermoluminescence, which is a delayed emission. Although only simple relative comparisons have been performed so far, in order to make precise evaluations as research progresses, it is necessary to consider measurement error factors. In this presentation, we will discuss the effect of thermal quenching on measurements.
