The surface potential characteristics of self-assembled electrets (SAEs) subjected to multiple recharging processes by corona discharge were evaluated. Alq3 deposited films were used, and it was confirmed that multiple recharging is possible regardless of the presence or absence of the initial surface potential formed by spontaneous orientation during deposition. Furthermore, it was revealed that the absolute value of the surface potential gradually decreases with an increasing number of recharging cycles. These results provide useful insights for the design of charge stability and reusability in MEMS devices using SAEs.
