We have previously investigated the spin angular momentum (SAM) textures associated with surface plasmon polaritons (SPPs). In this presentation, to observe the magnetization induced by this SAM, we developed a magneto-optical Kerr effect (MOKE) microscopy system capable of femtosecond laser excitation. As a demonstration of the system's operation, we observed magnetization reversal induced by femtosecond laser irradiation on a sample.
